A Web-Based Assessment and Profiling System for College English

چکیده
We develop a web-based assessment and student profiling system which can evaluate and analyze students’ academic performance in English classes at university level. The system is designed to qualitatively as well as quantitatively assess different language skills such as vocabulary, reading, listening, and writing. Apart from being used as a tool for semi-automatically creating web-based tests, it can also help keep track of students’ shortcomings, errors, and progress.
